DISCUSSIONS AROUND THE FIRE

2/9/16/23/30 August

Every Tuesday in August: Experience and enjoy the evening atmosphere at the MMM Firmian, by visiting the museum or dining in our restaurant (doors open at 7 p.m.). With the onset of dusk (9 p.m.) Reinhold Messner will tell you stories from his life and answers your questions. | In bad weather we reccomend to make a reservation (limited seating!)

Attention: Reinhold Messner will tell his stories in german, it will not be translated into English. On the 17th of August he will speak only in italian.

Price: 25€ adults, 10€ children (8-16 years), children under 8 years can enter for free. In the evening of the event the museummobilcard is not accepted. Tickets are only available at the box office.

You don't need to register.
Please bring your own seat pad and rain cover.

SUMMIT MEETING

7 & 28 August

Get to know the storyteller Reinhold Messner on the top of Kronplatz and visit the MMM Corones in the early morning (in German and Italian only).

8:00 am – take the gondola to the top of Kronplatz (Olang 1+2, Kronplatz 2000 and Ruis) 08:30 am – beginning of the event with Reinhold Messner Afterwards everyone can visit the museum individually (open daily until 3:30 pm) It is an outdoor event!

Attention: Reinhold Messner will tell his stories in German and Italian, it will not be translated into English.
Green Pass is a prerequisite for participation

You don't need to register.
In case of bad weather registration is recommended (it will take place in the LUMEN museum): corones@messner-mountain-museum.it

With Reinhold Messner at Juval

4th of June & 26th of August

An afternoon and evening at Juval: hike, museum visit, impulse lecture and dinner at the Schlosswirt – exclusively with Reinhold Messner.

- Meeting point with Reinhold Messner: car park Schlosswirt Juval at 4:00 pm.
- Followed by a hike via the “Rittersteig” to Juval Castle (approx. 30 minutes)
- Guided tour of the castle
- Impulse lecture by Reinhold Messner under the glass roof of the ruins
- Walk to the castle inn Juval (Oberortlhof)
- Dinner: 4-course menu of farm-fresh delicacies and wines from own cultivation (Unterortl winery)
- Price: adults 150€ / children (until age 12) 75 €

Corones by Night

01./29. of July and 9. of September

Experience the Kronplatz at night, walk to the MMM Corones under the light of torches and enjoy a unique atmosphere. The museum is open for you in the evening from 6 pm to 11 pm.

The Kronplatz 2000 and Ruis cable cars will be running that evening.

5th August

One day in the Dolomites: Excursion, guided tour in the museum, speech and dinner – exclusively with Reinhold Messner.
Attention: The event will only be held in Italian.

Sequence:
- Departure with the shuttle bus from Passo Cibiana
- Meeting with Reinhold Messner and joint hike to the MMM Dolomites
- Guided tour of the museum
- Impulse lecture by Reinhold Messner
- Shuttle ride to Passo Cibiana & joint 4-course dinner

The event will only be held in Italian. The event takes place in all weathers, sturdy shoes are requested.

Cinema: Mit dem Motorrad über die Wolken (1926)

5th September

A unique evening with a museum tour of the MMM Firmian followed by a screening of the silent film “Mit dem Motorrad über die Wolken – Ein Sportfilm in den Dolomiten” (Over the clouds on a motorbike, a sports film in the Dolomites) by Lothar Rübelt from 1926. There will be introductions by Reinhold Messner and the Austrian Film Museum.

Price: 12€ adults, 4€ children (8-14 years), children under 8 years can enter for free. In the evening of the event the museummobilcard is not accepted. Tickets only available at the box office.
